Concordia of Bella Vista sits within the city of Bella Vista, a community built around the vision of the Bella Vista Property Owners Association (POA). What began in 1917 as a scenic Ozark retreat grew, starting in 1965, into one of the first true retirement communities in the region, developed by John A. Cooper Sr. and governed from the start by an association dedicated to protecting its natural beauty and shared amenities. Concordia has been part of that story since 1972, watching Bella Vista grow from a village into a full city 2007. The POA continues to own and maintain the lakes, trails, and recreational facilities that make this corner of Northwest Arkansas so special.
